Restoration tree also offers access to very strong anti-undead spells, which is great, since they immune to "Heal Other". But it's random and can be very frustrating, so work on getting "Heal Other" asap. It also has no target restrictions, so that's convinient. Your main combat spell then becomes "Wild Healing" from Apocalypse, which helps you stay alive and randomly deal damage to enemies around you (or heal allies!).
